Please read these Terms of Use carefully before using the Gleam iOS application ("the App"). By downloading, installing, or using Gleam, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

Gleam is available on the App Store in the United States, Canada, Australia, and the United Kingdom. It is not distributed on the European App Store.

1. About Gleam

Gleam is an iOS application that delivers personalized affirmations designed for mothers. The App is operated by Thomas Claireau ("we", "us", or "our"), based in France.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to use Gleam. By using the App, you represent that you meet this requirement. If you are under 18, you should use the App only with the involvement of a parent or guardian.

3. Subscription & Billing

Free Trial

Gleam offers a 3-day free trial for new subscribers. The free trial begins at the time of subscription and automatically converts to a paid subscription at the end of the trial period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the trial expires.

Auto-Renewal

Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple ID account will be charged upon confirmation of purchase and at the start of each renewal period.

Managing Subscriptions

You can manage and cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID account settings. Cancelling your subscription will not result in a refund for the current billing period. Access to premium features will continue until the end of the paid period.

Pricing

Subscription pricing is displayed in the App before purchase. Prices are subject to change with reasonable notice.

4. Not Medical Advice

Gleam provides affirmations for motivational and inspirational purposes only. The content in this App is not medical advice, psychological counseling, or a substitute for professional mental health treatment.

If you are experiencing significant distress, anxiety, postpartum depression, or any other mental health condition, we encourage you to seek support from a qualified healthcare professional. Gleam is a complementary wellness tool, not a clinical resource.

5. Intellectual Property

All content within the App — including but not limited to affirmations, text, design, graphics, icons, and software — is owned by or licensed to Gleam and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, reverse engineer, or create derivative works from any part of the App without our express written permission.

6. User-Generated Content

If you create custom affirmations within the App, you retain ownership of that content. By creating content in the App, you grant us a limited license to store and display that content within your personal account solely for the purpose of providing the service.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the App
• Reverse engineer or decompile any part of the App
• Use the App in a way that could damage, disable, or impair it
• Scrape, harvest, or extract data from the App

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. We do not warrant that the affirmations or content will produce any particular outcome.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the App. Our total liability for any claim arising from these terms shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms of Use. Upon termination, your right to use the App will immediately cease.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. Continued use of the App after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new terms. We will update the effective date at the top of this page when changes are made.

12. Governing Law

These Terms of Use are governed by the laws of France, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of France.
